How do I make a Booking?

I will need to know the date of your session as soon as possible so I can reserve the date in my diary.  To hold this date a £50 reservation fee is payable at the time of booking. If you wish to make a booking simply request one via email and I will forward a booking form direct to you. Simply complete the booking form, print it out and post back to me. (To save later disappointment it would be helpful if you would confirm the planned date of your session in your initial email request to make sure I am available.)

After the session I spend a great deal of time professionally editing and retouching the results so that you will be completely satisfied with the final product. All prints are on premium photographic paper in sizes available from 6x4 all the way up to A3.

What can I expect at the Portrait session?

The portrait session can take place in your own home or workplace, or at any suitable location of your choice.  I find that a home visit can make for a more relaxed atmosphere and natural light can often be used.  

Please talk with me about what you want from your final images as I want you to feel comfortable and happy for me to capture those more personal expressions.

A session may take up to an hour or more and this can vary greatly depending on the numbers of adults, children or pets being photographed.  Being a family man myself I know that children, especially toddlers and babies, don’t run to a timetable.

What should I wear? Keep clothing simple. The more colourful and patterned clothing is, the more it detracts from expressions.  If you are having a group portrait session, think about coordinating the group clothing so that no one individual will stand out from the rest, unless of course that is your intention! What happens after the Photographs are taken? You will be able to see your images 3 or 4 days after the session in a password-protected online gallery. This can allow you and your whole family to view the images in your own time without any outside pressure.

How much will it cost?

You will be asked for a deposit of £50 at the time of the booking. At the start of the session you will also be expected to pay the balance of the full session fee. 

Can I purchase additional prints?

Yes of course you can.  All edited images from the session will be placed in a secure password protected on-line gallery, from which you will be able to select additional images and order them directly from our professional lab services having them delivered directly to your door.

What if I have to Cancel the booking?

If you have to cancel your party for whatever reason, earliest notice is appreciated. A refund on the booking fee will be given if you cancel with more than 21 days notice. If you cancel with less than 21 days notice and we cannot re-book the party date, no refund will be given. I will, however, be happy to re-book your party for another date.
